These terms cover Photon 47, the browser game at photon47.com. By playing, you agree to them.

The game

Photon 47 is free to play. We may add, change or remove heroes, modes, maps and balance at any time — that is what keeping a live game alive means. We may also take the game offline, permanently, and we hope we never do.

Your account

• You are responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your sign-in secure.
• One person, one account. Do not sell, rent or share it.
• We may suspend an account that cheats, exploits bugs, abuses other players, attacks our servers, or automates play.

Buying things

• Gems and subscriptions are a licence to use virtual items inside the game. They are not property, they have no cash value, and they cannot be exchanged for money.
• Each paid music track is a separate digital product. A completed purchase gives the purchasing account a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and listen to that track. It does not transfer copyright or permit resale, redistribution, public upload, commercial synchronisation, dataset creation, or model training.
• Music downloads are supplied immediately after payment. Where applicable law permits, by completing checkout and requesting immediate supply you acknowledge that a statutory withdrawal right may end once delivery begins. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Prices and any applicable tax are shown before you pay. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, completed digital and virtual purchases are final. If something is genuinely broken — you were charged twice, or you were charged and received nothing — email us and we will make it right.
• Music entitlements remain associated with the account used at checkout. Keep your own lawful backup after downloading; we do not promise indefinite re-download availability.
• Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep the benefits until the period you paid for ends.
• If your account is terminated for breaking these terms, unused virtual items are forfeited.

Fair play

No cheating, no bots, no modifying the client, no exploiting bugs for advantage, no harassing other players in chat. We would rather ban one person than lose a hundred.

Ownership

The game, its characters, art, music, code and name belong to us. You may record and stream your own gameplay, including monetised video — that is welcome, and no permission is needed. You may not redistribute the game itself, or pass its assets off as your own.

Content you send

If you post a name, music comment, Community topic or reply, private message, report, or emote, keep it legal and keep it civil. Do not post abuse, hate, sexual content, threats, spam, private information without permission, or impersonations. Do not manipulate Music rankings or Community voting with duplicate accounts, automation, coordinated false voting, or fraudulent engagement. We may rate-limit, hide, review, or remove content and restrict social features or accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, or law.

You keep ownership of content you create. For content you choose to publish publicly, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, display, moderate, and feature that content in connection with operating and promoting Photon 47. For private messages and reports, the licence is limited to transmitting, storing, securing, moderating, and complying with law; we will not use private messages in promotion. These licences end when the content is deleted from our active systems, except for protected backups, legal obligations, and safety evidence retained for the periods described in the Privacy Policy.

Friend requests and private chat require consent. A friendship or message is never permission to harass, pressure, track, or disclose another person. Use the report and delete controls where appropriate, and contact us for urgent safety concerns.

No warranty

The game is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it running and your saves intact, but we cannot promise it will never go down, never lose data, and never contain a bug. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we will update the date above and say so in the game. Continuing to play means you accept the new terms.
